MENTEPLENA PROGRAMS
Programs for small groups (8 to 12 participants)
MentePlena is a new project in LisboaCounselling. It is designed to work with small groups. It is not group therapy; it’s not to vent people’s issues or even to analyse problems or traumas. Instead, it is a training of tools and competencies, applied in very practical ways, to deal with specific themes and situations.
These programs use some mindfulness concepts and tools, combined with specific counselling techniques that will empower the participants and enable them to reach the goals in each program.
STRESS REDUCTION
Stress and anxiety managemente skills training
Stress and anxiety not only impair the quality of work, but they also lead to a huge waste of time, creating an environment conducive to mistakes and conflicts.
When a company invests in stress reduction efficient tools, it has an imediate return in its employees motivation, welfare and performance.
Duration: weekly sessions of 1 hour, for 8 weeks
Goals
- To develop a deeper awareness of self and surroundings
- To make a more positive management of pressures and resulting emotions
- To become able to identify toxic factors and to plan the strategies to eliminate them or to reduce their impact
- To become able to influence their own feelings and emotions
- Resilience — to develop the ability to be happy, regardless the circumstancies

BURNOUT PREVENTION
Inner strengthening skills training
Burnout is an increasingly common reality, that usually isn’t perceived until the person goes into break down, often causing serious damage to the company.
Acquiring efficient tools to foster empowerment and reduce inner strain, the performance of employees improves and we decrease the risk of break down as well as the inconvenience of absence from medical leave.
Duration: weekly sessions of 1 hour, for 8 weeks
Goals
- To decrease mental fatigue and inner waste
- To improve concentration and performance
- To learn how to identify strain factors and to plan the strategies to decrease that inner wear
- To reduce the risk of burnout or other kind of break down
Target audience

People who are in high pressure professional situations with mental and emotional strain, along with high performance requirements

HIGH PERFORMANCE
EXCELLENCE TOOLS TRAINING
Either in study or at work, most people feel they are not having the performance they wish. But it is possible to increase our brain efficiency, as well as our muscles’. In this workshop, we’ll go through a training of competencies to improve our brain’s function and to develop excellence.
